The Orlando Pride announced Monday two players signed new contracts ahead of the 2023 NWSL season.

Midfielder Jordyn Listro signed a new one-year contract with a club option for 2024 — while, Defender Celia Jimenez Delgado penned a two-year deal to bring back the defender. Both players were out of contract at the end of last season.

“Jordyn is a player who has roots here in Florida and fights every day to represent the badge and the community,” Head Coach Seb Hines said in a release. “After returning to us last year, she stepped in right away and made an immediate impact on the pitch. She is a player that is always looking to improve and is willing to do the dirty work in the midfield, which is vital to the type of team we want to be. We couldn’t be happier to have her back in a Pride uniform.”

Listro made a career-high 19 appearances and 13 starts for the Pride last season, while Celia appeared in 18 games for Orlando in 2022, scoring twice as a defender.

“I’m excited for this 2023 season to begin. Our team has the talent and the grit to be within the top teams,” said Celia. “I’m looking forward to building a solid winning culture and enjoying the unity of the team.”
