Ahead of their eighth season in Major League Soccer, Orlando City announced their 2022 preseason schedule on Saturday.
The Lions opened preseason camp on Tuesday in Kissimmee and will spend their entire time there, while playing seven closed-door matches leading up to their home opener in February.
Five of those matches will come against MLS opponents, while two will be played against USL Championship teams.
The Lions will take on a team yet to be named, Adrian Heath‘s Minnesota United, Oscar Pareja‘s former teams in FC Dallas and the Colorado Rapids, and FC Cincinnati. The two USL teams are the runner-ups in the 2021 USL playoffs, the Tampa Bay Rowdies, and the Anthony Pulis-led Miami FC.
This will lead into the start of the MLS regular season, which is scheduled to start on February 27 against CF Montreal in Exploria Stadium.
