Ahead of their seventh season in Major League Soccer, Orlando City announced their 2021 preseason schedule on Wednesday.
The Lions opened preseason camp on Monday in Kissimmee and will spend one week training before departing to IMG Academy in Bradenton on Sunday, March 7.
On March 15, Orlando will play the Philadelphia Union in a closed-door friendly in Clearwater, before the team heads back to Orlando that day.
This will lead into six more preseason matches, five of them coming against MLS opponents.
The Lions will take on New York City FC on March 18th, a team to be announced on March 27th and FC Cincinnati on March 31st, all three games being played at Orlando City’s training facility.
The Lions will then play three more matches in April, the first coming on April 3 against the Chicago Fire FC, followed by a scrimmage against USL Championships Miami FC on Tuesday, April 6. In the final match, Orlando will host Adrian Heath and Minnesota United FC in a closed-door contest on April 9.
