Orlando City B made their long-awaited USL League One debut but fell 3-1 to FC Tucson Saturday night at the Montverde Athletic Complex.

OCB was reduced to 10 players by halftime when Randy Mendoza was issued a straight red card for a late challenge.

Here are some quotes from OCB head coach Fernando Jose De Argila Irurita

“They are one of the strongest teams in the league. We couldn’t have asked more from the kids, we congratulated them after the game. We were punished by the cards, but overall I was satisfied. We played a very good team and in the last 50 minutes we had them in their own field.”

Up next for Orlando

OCB hosts Toronto FC II on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Montverde Athletic Complex.
