Injured: Kaká out of Copa America

Orlando City captain Ricardo Kaká will not play for the Brazilian national team in the upcoming Copa America Centenario tournament.

The Brazilian federation made the announcement of the injury on Wednesday with Orlando City confirming later through Twitter.

The Brazilian star sustained a hamstring injury during training with the national team, and was replaced for Ganso, a former teammate at Sao Paulo in 2014.

Brazil is scheduled to take on Haiti on June 8 at Camping World Stadium in the last of three matches Orlando is hosting in the coming days.

Orlando City returns to action at home on June 18 against the San Jose Earthquakes at Camping World Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
