Alex Morgan, Ashlyn Harris called up to US national team

Alex Morgan and Ashlyn Harris will report to national team duty.

USWNT coach Jill Ellis named her 25-player roster on Wednesday for the upcoming international friendlies against Japan.

The United States take on Japan on June 2 and 5 in Commerce City, Colorado, and Cleveland, Ohio, and will broadcast respectively on FS1 and ESPN2

The match will serve as a tune-up for the summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in August.

Players called up will report to training camp with the national team in Denver on May 27, and that could impact the Orlando Pride lineup as Orlando head coach Tom Sermanni’s team will be in the middle of a four-game road trip during the pair of national team games.

The Pride are scheduled to visit FC Kansas City on May 28.
