The hunt for the first win of the season continues.
Orlando City B will visit the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at Highmark Stadium on Friday at 7 p.m.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” OCB coach Anthony Pulis said. “They have only played two games, and we have obviously watched them. They are a solid USL side, they are difficult to play against but we are really looking forward to get the guys away together for five days. It’s going to be a tough schedule playing Friday and Monday, but everybody is looking forward to it.”
The task at hand for the next four days will certainly be a difficult one with little rest for the USL Lions. With a road game at Pittsburgh on Friday, OCB will travel to play the Harrisburg City Islanders on Monday night at 7 p.m.
Team captain Lewis Neal and Tony Rocha are serving one-game suspensions after picking up red cards last week against Harrisburg at home. The City Islanders would win that game 1-0.
Orlando City first-team players expected to make an appearance for OCB include Tyler Turner, Devron Garcia, Bryan Róchez and Richie Laryea. Harrison Heath and Hadji Barry were confirmed to be loaned downfor OCB’s pair of road games this weekend.
Orlando City B is currently 0-3-1 and sit 13th in the USL Eastern Conference table.
The Riverhounds (0-1-1, 1 point), who are managed by second-year coach Mark Steffens, have only played two games this season.
Friday’s game at Highmark Stadium will broadcast live on ESPN3.
