With the United Soccer League season now looming, Orlando City B maintained its consistent signing of players.
OCB announced Friday they have signed forward Andrew Ribeiro and goalkeeper Mark Ridgers for the 2016 USL season.
“Andrew and Mark will bring a great amount of national and international experience to our team,” Orlando City B head coach Anthony Pulis said in a statement. “We’ve been monitoring them for some time and we are really excited to have them join to strengthen our squad. We look forward to working with them and benefiting from their contributions.”
The 25-year-old Ribeiro joins OCB after previous stints with the Charlotte Independence, Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Harrisburg City Islanders — all USL teams.
Ridgers recently played on-loan at Kilmarnock of the Scottish Premiership (top tier). Ridgers has also represented the Scottish men’s national team at the U-19 and U-21 level.
